This time we made the cut and were able to drive 3.3 miles up Zion Canyon Drive to park at the Zion lodge. From there we bike the 3.5 miles to the narrows. After the mile hike in we were back in the water.
Jim and Ali turned back pretty early on. It was shadowy and a bit cold. Add the challenge of hiking in the water and they decided they had enough.
We went as far as we could and still keep our shorts mostly dry!
