The Fremont River

The road follows the river through the park. When we were here in 2016 we hiked to Hickman Bridge (a natural arch about 1 mile into the canyon). It was SO hot and the girls were so happy to see water when we got back to the parking lot. Samantha asked to stop here again. Not for the hike, but for a walk in the river. It's not nearly as hot as 2016, but refreshing just the same.

Jim and I walked along the path that eventually leads to the arch so we could see the girls from above.
